Springfield's Favorite Family Makes Its Debut in Psyonix's Hit Game: Unfortunately Not the Vehicle You're Hoping For
We already knew that the iconic animated series was collaborating with Epic Games' battle royale, but that's not the only place where fans can experience the world of Springfield. The long-running series is also making its way to Rocket League, introducing an vehicle customization option that will also be usable in Fortnite. However, if gamers will truly desire to use it is a different matter, as fans have their hearts set on just one Simpsons car the community is itching to drive, and this isn't it.
The Dream Vehicle
While many players would absolutely enjoy to compete while driving Homer's custom creation—the notoriously impractical car Homer designed personally in the 1991 episode "the one where he meets Herb"—regrettably, that isn't what's being offered. Not even receiving the massive SUV, the enormous truck featured in the tenth season. Instead, players are getting the Simpsons' everyday well-worn four-door, which has been in the family since the show's early days. Though this particular car has seen better days, it remains an recognizable symbol of the series. And for players who pay attention to Rocket League vehicle dimensions, the trusty sedan uses the same hitbox as the Dominus.
